Wednesday greeted my clients and I with the aftermath of Tuesday nights big storm. Many parts of the flowage looks like a war zone, what a shame with all the damage along with some major injuries that it caused to those camping out there.
Fishing for the most part was not good, due in part to the very dirty water caused by the high winds and all the debry floating around out there. We did manage to catch 3 eyes, 3 nice gills,1 jumbo perch and 1 big smallie, they were pretty much tucked in small wind blown bays with coontail. The humps produced nothing as did drifting the shallow mud flats with fixed bobbers with in-line spinners and crawlers. One note, the areas from the big sand bank across to Crows Nest extending all the way to the south end were for the most part not affected too much by the storm.
Back out today for a half day trip, will keep you posted.
