August 2nd report

Still in a little slump here. We started at 2:00PM and fished until dark. We had one follow right away that was in the low forty inch range. I think that one would have hit had we done a figure eight. That fish was really aggressive. After that it was nothing until quitting time. I had one blow up on my Creeptonite but nothing there to set on. The funny thing was right before that fish hit I told Gary that I had not seen a fish all year on a creeper and Gary said well I haven't seen a fish after dark all year and then wham, the fish hit. Gary had caught a nice 48 inch fish in the morning while I sat waiting for someone to show. I guess I should have fished in the morning. Oh well.

Back at it today. I feel the slump ending today.
