Got up to the lake for a couple of days, Sunday fished all the way accross the lake were the St. Clair river comes in , water was in good shape but could not get things to go. The water started to clean up a bit and got 5 leagals in the two days. Lost a big one on a spanky bucktaill, 5oz and fifty feet back. She was smoking the line of the reel, picked up the rod and she came up on top , coulpe of head shakes and gone ! Nice fish 50 inch class. Lost another 50 " class on a tuff shad in olive perch. Got it about 2/3 of the way to the boat. Boat rod 26 feed to line out, all fish were caught or lost going 4.6 to 5 miles hour trolling. John Denise got a 53 ", over the weekend fishing with Mike and Trent from muskie train lures. They got a 51.5 yesterday.
