Today Randy and I hit the water around 8 am. By 11:00 we had 10 bluegills and 20 smallmouth. We went to the hotel and picked up Gordy from Wolf River Counrty and headed back out. by the end of the day we had over 50 smallmouth and we brought home 41 bluegills.
Here is how we started out for the bluegills. We fished the back side of the rock using bobber. With the bobber we only caught 10. Gordy and Randy dumped the bobber and went to jigs fishing in the current break. It was unbelivable. We caught over 31 fish in a hour.
Now for the smallmouth I was getting sick of Randy. He was using a fly rig.
The rig had 3 flies on it. He was catching 2 fish at a time. I was shocked how many fish he caught with the rig.
One tip use red worms
