Herbie,
I know that you are recommending doubling up the last four feet or so of the braided line with a surgeon's knot in order to increase the durability of that last, abused part of the line when a big fish is hooked. What knot do you use to attach that doubled line to the fluorocarbon or leader? When I tie a doubled 80 pound braided line to 130 lb fluorocarbon, a slim beauty isn't very slim or beautiful, and neither is a double uni. How do you do it?
Bill
