The Turtle-Flambeau Flowage Association will hold a Pig & Corn Roast on Saturday, August 14th, 2010, with food being served starting at 3:00 PM until its gone. The Roast will be held at the Midway Bar located at 89281 County Hwy. F, Butternut, Wi 54514 (11 miles northeast of Butternut off of HWY. 13 or 18 mile west of Mercer off of HWY. 51 or, basically, in the middle of the TFF area). The menu will include pork slow roasted on site that day, along with all the "fixings" (e.g. potatoe salad, slaw, kraut, etc.), fresh sweet corn and desserts. DJ Music and Karaoke will provide entertainment starting at 4:00 PM and will last throughout the evening. Raffles with prizes donated from local supporters will add to the fun. Dancing, Singing and Laughter are guaranteed despite what Mother Nature has dealt the area. All proceeds from this event will go towards the promotion and enhancement of the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage. Thank-you to everyone for your support of the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage by attending or contributing to the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage Association's Pig/Corn Roast this past Saturday. The attendance was great and a good time was had by all who attended. All proceeds will go to the promotion and enhancement of the Turtle-Flowage Area. Next Years event will again be held the second Saturday of August, so please mark it on your calenders. Thanks again to all supporters of the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage.
