The water temps on the majority of the area lakes are at dangerous levels. I had 78 yesterday at 4am. I went back out last night and we had 83.5 on the main basin of the lake. I saw the temp and we immediately got off. I cancelled my trips the next few days until the water temp goes back down to a safe level. There are many studies available online that show the impact of angling in higher water temps. If you are finding 79+ degree water temps please stop fishing until they drop.
