We had some more tough fishing in the PMTT but we managed to get one 39 3/4 inch fish today. We had a shot at one other and had another go after a Red October Tube. We caught the one on a Bootail and missed the one on that also. I had something take a swat at a Stillwater but not sure what it was. I think it was a muskie but without getting a good look it's hard to say. We moved a few and caught one prefishing but it was still slow. There was really nobody that figured out a pattern with the exception of one boat. Most people would catch a fish and that was the only fish they saw all day. There were some fish caught deep on Bulldawgs which is a crazy pattern for this time of year but most of the guys that caught fish on Bulldawgs didn't see more than one a day but they hit. Basically the fish were scattered all over. The fish we caught was on a random shoreline where I have never seen a fish in my life. The wind was right to fish in so we said what the heck. Nothing else was working.
Water temps were from 72 to 80 degrees. There is definitely going to be a good bite coming up with the water temps going down.
