8/16/10 - Delavan Lake - Sunny, 75 , Water 80 degrees. SW Winds at 15 to 20 mph. The best bass catching morning of the year. 21 Bass 3 over eighteen inches. One was a very nice largemouth 23 incher pushing 6 pounds, 1 northern pike and 50 blugills, I cleaned about 30 over 7 1/2 inches for their fish fry and a few smaller ones that were deeply hooked all on splitshot/nightcrawlers out of 12-18 ft of water. Best locations were grey condos to yaht Club, chinise pagoda, and 3 flags. By the smiles on everyones faces we all had fun on this one. Now is the time to get that last minute kids fishing trip fix before the start of the school season begins!
