I am sure everybody interested in the Off Shore Challenge knows Richie Stephenson and Tom won the 333 for $5,000.00. Congradulations Richie!
The Salmon fishing is still going well with some pretty good catches coming in daily. That last big storm put a small bump in the road and the north wind pushed the warm water down to ninty feet.
But it has been a crazy season with the high water temps just when you think you have it figured out, it changes. We are catching fish down 40-60ft. and at the same time a downrigger at 150ft. down goes off. Go figure, you have to cover all the bases.
Walleye fishing on the bay is going well out on the reefs both during the day and night. Mostly crank baits have been doing the job.
Haven't heard too much about the Bass but I am sure they are still out there.
Pretty soon the Muskie fishing will be getting into full swing and that will be fun.
