Finally the fish started moving. We caught one on a Stillwater in the morning that was 41 1/2 inches. We also had two others follow Cowgirls. One was a mid forty inch fish that went around and around and around and.....you get the picture. Probably the best figure eight I've seen in a while. In the evening we had another follow a Cowgirl for a while and then we had one eat a Pacemaker. Bob was still in Bass fishing mode and let it take it for a while. It was a thing of beauty. He''ll get the next one right? Nope. That one was on a Stillwater and lunged to eat it and Bob ripped it away right as it tried to swallow it. We need to work on a happy medium. Oh well, we had fun anyway. We had two others blow up on Stillwaters. Those eight fish were more than we've seen in our last eight trips I think. The cool water temps are definitely going to help out. Also, a friend at Treelands caught a 48 incher in a figure eight and had two others hit so the fish were going better yesterday.
Water temps were between 68 and 73 degrees yesterday.
