Hi All, I'll be up in eagle river this weekend for a very short but intense couple of days of fishing.
My family and I will be staying at the Wild Eagle Resort but I will be spending most of the time fishing.
I'm in a wheelchair and fish from a pontoon boat. Not the best but works well for me. I typically try to find a good spot and then drift without an anchor. I don't have a trolling motor.
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good spot, or two, as I won't have a lot of time for scouting.
I have been studying lake maps and think I might be able to find some decent spots. It looks like there is a deep dropoff just off the Wild Eagle property on Duck Lake. Good Walleye spot?
I'm mostly looking for Northerns and Walleyes. A Musky would be great but I don't have the time to invest this weekend.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
Thanks
