Fishing has been pretty awesome up here for the month of August. Had to keep bouncing around the various lakes up here to avoid some heavy algae blooms, but that is the great thing about fishing around the Leech Lake area is that there is such a vairety of great muskie waters!! Quite a few clients have landed fish over 50 inches. Recently, I boated a 49.5 x 25.5 fish that looked like she has just swallowed a loon. I was fishing with client, Todd Russell, and a few days later while fishing on his own he boated her again. I think she may just have a serious eating disorder!!
