Fishing and weather were up and down during the two week period ending Aug 28. Some nice fish caught up by our guests depsite some unfishable windy days and cold fronts that passed through.
Muskies used weeds, shoreline rocks and point, while walleyes were holding on and near reefs as well as some points.
Walleyes up to 28 inches and muskies up to 48.5 inches were caught and released to make for some more nice fish.
The Labour Day Weekend will bring another busy period, with a lot of anglers coming and going throughout September. We're sure there will be more good fishing to be had and there is still a few openings left if you are thinking about a fall trip.
