i need help?just put leadcore line on my reel , just wondering how much monofilament line goes after the leadcore. Please help!

If you're talking about the leader end, 30 to 50 feet is pretty typical for most walleye and salmon applications. If you are talking about the backing, it really depends on the backing material and the size of the reel.

Lots of Charter Captains in Wisconsin's salmon area have gone much shorter with their Mono/Flouro leaders off leadcore this year. 15 feet seems to be a magic number many are going to. Also have a couple friends on the East side of the lake that have done the same thing.

For walleyes I use 50' and for salmon I use 30'
