Fall weather has arrived! We went from shorts and t-shirts and highs in the mid to upper 70's to wearing lots of layers of clothes to stay warm with windy, cool, daytime highs in the 50's and overnight lows in the 30's. What a change!
Musky fishing has been streaky, multiple fish days followed by fishless days have been the norm. Overall we've boated ten musky's in the past week, lots of 30 to 40 inch fish. Big Game Twitch Baits have been the best producers, we also have caught a couple on quick strike rigged suckers. Getting suckers has been kind of tough, most bait shops were out of them by Sunday morning. Bring your own if possible.
Water temps are falling, from mid 70's a week ago to upper 60's currently.
Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
