Other than a rainy Saturday morning, it was a windy but otherwise nice weekend on the TFF. Water temps were steady at right around 60 degrees and the level is -1.1 feet according to the stick at Springstead Landing. Visibility was very poor from Baraboo up into the Manitowish arm and the Horseshoe/Townline area - not much over a foot on the orange bucktail scale. However, I spent a little time on the north (downwind) end of the big water on Saturday and the water was noticeably clearer there despite a lot of wave action.

A 39" musky made it into the photo album this morning courtesy of a bucktail, and I saw one other one in that size range and a few smaller ones. All were in shallow weeds. However, cruising around Baraboo at about noon today, sideimaging and conventional sonar showed fish of various sizes spread all over the basin at 16-24 feet down, both on or near the bottom along dropoffs and suspended over deeper water.

Trees along Flowage Road are starting to show some color, and there was a lot of red and orange on the maples heading west, especially from Park Falls to just north of Ladysmith.
