With dominate high eastern winds much of the past few weeks disrupting the bite abit. The best bite has been out on Lake Monona for bluegills producing both numbers and size of fish. They have moved from right off the bottom to suspending over deep water in twelve to twenty feet of water.
During the day Walleyes on Mendota and Waubesa are starting to show up on the shallower rocky humps thruout the chain where jigs and live bait have begun to take fish. During the low lite periods of the day they are feeding in shallow rocky area where casting jig/twisters and stickbaits has started working.. With the water temps slowly cooling to the mid 60's we have been seeing action.
