Fishing this past week has been a little inconsistant for us on Lake Delavan. We did catch good numbers of gamefish on most days that I was not blown off the water because of the high winds with a mix of bass and pike, The fall bite is starting to heat up big time! Lots of bigger fish showing up. Walleyes are starting to hit spinners and cranks along with bass, Many fish are now transitioning into the shallower weeds and putting on the feedbag.
Lake Geneva fishing has really turned for the worst for us. I spent a couple of mornings out searching for gamefish in deeper water 15' to 40' of water. We did catch one nice pike on a sucker, a few nice blluegills and a dozen rockbass went zero on finding any smallmouth bass.
