Water temperatures are in the mid-60's and muskie action has started to pick up because of it.

Lake Mendota has not been receiving much attention as of late, although there are still a handful of fishermen pursuing perch and bluegills along the weed lines. Most reports have reported a large quantity of small white bass around many parts of the lake. Catfish have still been biting in Cherokee Marsh.

Lake Monona bluegill action continues to be good, with the majority of catches coming suspended over 30'-50' of water. As water continues to cool, look for the bluegills to continue to move back toward the weed edges. Muskie action has been picking up in several areas on the lake. Look for fish near Olen Park, Turville Point, in front of Squaw Bay, and by John Nolan Drive.

Lake Waubesa bluegills have been getting more active than they previously were. Look for activitiy in 6'-8' of water near Lake Farm Park and Babcock Park.

Lake Kegonsa has been producing some nice sized perch and bluegills. Look for them near the weedlines in 8'-9' of water in several areas on the lake.
