Well we picked up a wonderful group from Put N Bay and headed out off West Reef in 32 feet of water and dropped our tri-rigs tipped with lake shiners. We began catching a few perch with not much size so we sorted and kept 7.5 - and up. We just were not catching good quality perch but neither was any of our friends in the western basin. We moved the boat several times with extra anchor rope. The perch were there but we only ended up with 100 perch. The walleyes are still slow my friend caught 10 walleyes over the border in Canada on King George reef. All in all we had a great time today and met some very nice folks that I am sure we will be togeather soon!
