Talked to the DNR lady who was at the launch today, just got finished pulling some nets right in front of Gladstone. She said that there were good numbers of large perch, fair amount of walleyes of various sizes, as well as other species such as bass, pike, and, of course, gobies. Maybe once the weather stabilizes some, the bite will get going. We fished perch today, caught a few, but got antsy and tried for walleye (and to try out the new trolling motor some more). Got a couple walleye, few more perch.
