Our goose and ducks combined with grouse hunting and fishing have been a huge success with all parties shooting daily limits of geese,lots of ducks,and catching lots of fish.
A normal shoot has been 2-3 hunters along with the guides bagging 18-25 geese,8-12 ducks avg an am shoot. we do not hunt pms on roosts or loafing areas so hunts stay hot and consistant and birds constantly returning to feeding areas.
This am i got to go along with danny and the gnagni's and we were done by 8;30 with 25 geese and 31 ducks mostly mallards with some pintails. it was an exciting shoot with birds practically landing on our layouts and shots avging 15-25yds.
All groups have been experienced waterfowlers and have hunted many destinations and have said it has been some of the best shoots they have experienced anywhere anytime and all have rebooked.
This season we limited the hunts to 1 group per shoot to assure a quality experience during a learning curve.for 2011 we will be expanding to 2 groups of 2 or 1 group of 4 max for 4-5 day shoots per week so there will be some availablity for next season.
