Nelson Lake

I know I can reference fishing survey stats about different Hayward lakes and I know that Nelson is not a Muskie Lake. But, can anyone who fishes this lake describe in laymans terms the make up of this fishery? What is its reputation? Is it primarliy Bass? Walleye? Panfish? Northern? How much of the daily activity a recreation/boating lake and how much would you consider it a fishing lake? I know it has its basic limitations due to its size and I am told the water level does not fluctuate as much during the season compared to the Chip. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Rip
