I have a hard time converting over to hunting season, the more I fish the less I hunt.
McKean county sucks for deer numbers thanks to our lovely guys in green.
Kind of hard to sit in a stand night after night and not have anything pass underneth you even if it is does or smaller bucks. I need at least to see something.
Sure if you do your homework you can shoot nice bucks like you got but I'm not willing to give up my fishing time to do it anymore. If I get lucky and blunder into a nice one during the rut so be it.
I still continue to shoot nice deer with the rifle so I'll go with that.
Sorry about the blabbering, I use to spend many hours in a tree and really enjoyed just see game, like any game.
