Thanx for the reports! For what it's worth, I've been doin' pretty cruddy lately myself. My last two trips (Ford River area) have yielded 2 fish total. Nice walleyes (26 "ers), but it's a long drive to catch one fish. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one not catching many fish; so it's nice to read ANY fishing reports. Good luck, and if nothing else, enjoy your time on the water. These have been some beautiful October days anyways.

the weather is unbelievable ,got sunburnt on ears and face,trolled cranks upper upper bay. got 1 @18" marking bait fish but spotty,

Don't feel like the lone ranger, been slow down there for me as well. 3 trips in last week, sun 1/1, tues 3/4 and last night 3/6. Could not keep the hooks in them last night, lost 3 right behind the boat, which is unusual. This is all night fishing cranks. If you go, I hope you have a naked muffin, it has taken about 40% of my hits this fall, and I only have one.

...What is a naked muffin? I have never heard of it. I also only fish at night trolling cranks. My last 2 fish have come on a Bomber Long-A and a J-11 Rapala.

I guess the full name is day old muffin bare naked. That's just too long...naked muffin leaves more to the imagination. :)
