Just ordered a Just En Case deck box today. I ordered a new style that Bob is coming out with but is not on his site yet. I will be able to store 4 DC-10's in each vertical column which is 4x4 (to give you an idea of space). There will be 24 of these columns in this box. The height of this particular box is 16 inches and fits against my front casting deck perfectly. The dimensions of the entire box is 24L x 16H x 14W.

It will have a non-slip surface on the lid and is easily strong enough to stand on. I have been contemplating one of these boxes for awhile and finally pulled the trigger today. The cost for the box shown is 225.00 (for now) but will go to 250.00 dollars as soon as they are in mass production. The cheapest shipping I could find from MN to Warren was 40.00 (FedEx).

Just letting you guys know.

That's going to be a nice setup, Red. That's a lot of storage, and the price isn't too bad if you compare it to the storage you get from a Lakewood, not to put them down.

My box came in today and it is very nice. I can store between 70-100 baits depending on size. I can put 6-8 Hellhounds or 3 MagDawgs in each compartment to give you an idea.

Correction...........Make that 4 MagDawgs in each compartment with relative ease.

I am interested in seeing the box with some baits in it. 16" is pretty tall-seems there may be some empty space when you have hellhounds in it. Sounds like it is a great mag dawg box.

Regarding Hellhounds (8 inches), you can drop the extra/spare baits in the bottom of the individual divider, if using 6.5 inch baits or shorter. It comes with a thin plastic device to "fish" the dropped baits out from the bottom. The slits that are cut in the dividers are about 1.5 inches deep so when your baits are hanging, they are all flush with the top so you can close the lid. For example, Mantas......when you hang them, there is either the plastic rudder or the tip of the face sticking up higher so he recessed the cuts in the divider to help make baits of different shapes and sizes fit. Even though it appears you can hang 16" hard baits, you really cannot due to the depth of the slits. I guess you could put a 16" hard bait in there and just let it rest against the walls, however.

These boxes come in several different widths/heights/lengths to suit your needs. I went with 16"H so it would mesh with my front casting deck plus I have a few big Curly Sues that hang nicely in there too.
