Where can I get a relatively cheap, but still reliable barometer?

I purchased the "Fishing Barometer," but it didn't work. I checked it before, during, and after a major storm and the needle didn't move. I'm looking for one that I can take on the boat to check every once in awhile. Any advice?

It was the $13 one (on sale for $9.74), not the $90 one. I might have just bought a faulty one. I didn't bother exchanging them. I was hoping I could get one that is much better quality in the $30 range.

I just checked out that website from the other thread. Great site. When are depth finders going to have internet?

Blackberry or Smart Phone have that capability covered.

I picked up one of the cheap-o fishing barometers you're talking about at the bargain cave at Cabelas a few months ago. It's worked great for me. I've checked it numerous times against actual pressure and it's always dead on. For what I paid I was shocked that it worked.
Red,
As for the smart phones, is it an application that I can download or is it something built into the phones?

Mike,
Sorry for the confusion.......my statement meant that if you wanted to log onto a barometric pressure site (while in a boat), you can do that with a BBerry/Smartphone.

I use weatherunderground.com (wunderground.com) I saved to my favorites and I can check it whenever im fishing. gives barometric pressure and current radar, all sorts of stuff.

Duh! Blonde moment.
That would be nice though to have an app that you can setup to access the info you want quickly. Maybe weather underground has one. I'll have to look into that.

Alright... there are two free apps called "weather buddy" and "wunder". you can set them to automatically pull current info from weather underground for your current location or a favorite location. You can set your location either by closest personal weather station, by current GPS location (if you have the phone's GPS turned on) or by manually inputting coordinates. Once you set it up it's just one click pulls up the BP for your location.
The way it is set up is really sweet, but neither of them is working right now. Seeing how both are coming up all zeros, it may be a problem with wunderground.com
