The weather sure has changed, but muskies have been tough to come by the past few days. We managed one smaller fish today which I caught on a 10" Jake, and we caught four nice bonus pike (two over thirty-five inches). Joe is pictured below with one of the nicer pike he caught on the new Super AP jerkbait by Musky Buster. Sean from Gander Mountain also raised a real dandy on a Cowgirl that was at least forty-seven inches long and well fed. She followed him around five times on the figure 8, yet she wouldn't eat. We went back on her three more times throughout the day, and then trolled near her to no avail. Water temperatures are at 52.4 degrees, and the water clarity is exceptional. Seems like the fish are currently quite scattered as far as locations go, at least where I am fishing. Weather is turning bad the next few days, with high winds, rain and snow mix, etc. Hopefully more reports towards the end of the week.
