Thank God the winds are over!!! Lots of damage and power outages(which are still being repaired)...
I would definitely say that any and every lake is mixed up now! LOL!!
Muskie activity remains very consistant....action on lures and suckers has been a day to day basis....some days 50/50 some days one or the other...
Bulldawgs, DepthRaiders, Heavy-weighted Cowgirls, and of course quick set suckers are producing for me.
Hard bottom areas that transition to mud are productive, as are the deepest weed edges in any given lake(as long as the weeds are green).
Fish slow, slow, slow....
Walleyes are using deep gravel humps and mud flats....redtails and fatheads are the ticket...if a lake has a deep hole, check around the perimeter of the hole and use your electronics to find the fish.
Crappies will relate to these areas too....me and Gillespie, along with Ray smoked the crappies last monday doing this same pattern.
The herd of 7 deer are starting their rut activity in Vilas County....hopefully the cooler weather will get things going.
