We wrapped up the Fall Food drive and can donation for the Belle River Food Bank on Thursday Oct 28th. We ended up with a total of 1,963 items. This is more than last years total by more than 200 cans. This event is a partnership between Rochester Place campground and Central Ohio chapter members.
Thanks to Manny Farley, who organized most of this, by collecting money from our members and then buying food items at good deals from area stores. Also to the Campground folks who donated canned goods. Paul Lalonde encouraged some other local folks to donate canned items to this event too.
The Food Bank folks brought 2 Vans to the campground and we loaded 1 full and the 2nd about half full.
