I got out on the water with my good friend John Arrigoni. And what a day to be on the water, fish or no fish it was just a pleasant day to be out.
Our action started out fast, first spot I was able to hook a nice fish using a Red October tub. After a good battle she was placed in the StowMater, a quick measurement we found her to be 43.5 inches, a few photos and she was released.
A little while later John yield as he had one hit at boat side on a Hellhound, another good battle and she too was place in the StowMater. This one measured 42 inches, a nice heavy fish. Photos and released. As the day went on we missed a few more opportunities and called it a day. Both fish and missed fish were relating to the current edges (eddies).
Water temp was 46.7 degrees.
