We fished all day for 2 bites and (luckily) both hit the bottom of the net......both of these fish came from the shade on a sunny/flat day.

It was 36.5 (1.5 inches longer than the musky).

Dido on that's a nice pike. I usually only see fish around 24" in Pa.

I did not mean to "insult" the size of that pike but we were chasing muskies and Chuck had gotten so excited when he hooked up........then we saw it was just a pike. I agree that it was a nice pike for this area but I have seen them up to 49.5 inches coming from the Kinzua the past few years not to mention the state record.
I think Howard Wagner and partner boated a real stud up there 2 summers ago and Jim Sprankle hit a 49.5 during late-summer this year. Now those are nice pike!

I'd take pike like that in CT all day! My biggest was 41" last fall, and that one took me a good 18 years of pike fishing to catch, lol. Couple of nice fish there men!
