I'm sure most of you have not seen Kringle since she was a 10 pound turd, so I thought I'd update you. She got her first experience with snow this week, and was pretty funny. Can't wait to see her first experience walking on the lake next week.
Had to throw in the big girl for comparison.

Good looking girl. How are her hat and glove skills?

Had to put my old boy down today, very sad. 13 and a half years of pure pleasure and entertainment over. The new brown menace is going to keep me busy, but will never replace dear old Jack. Buried him at the end of one of his favourite pheasant drives this morning. RIP old fella.

Sad indeed. Feel for you Timmy. A cruel injustice with your dogs living only a short portion of your life.

I'm on dog #4 - I guess I'm getting old. It's always a tough time when you lose one and move on. Couldn't imagine not having one, though.

Was at the shoot yesterday for the final proper day of the season. The old boy's grave was untouched by foxes or badgers thankfully. Had a little moment when I went past him though.
