Ice report

Currently we are seeing anywhere from 2-6 inches around the area with 2-3 inches the norm. Some sheltered bays and shallow lakes are showing a little thicker ice. Caution is advised due to the fact we are not quite there yet. I would say that with the current weather this upcoming weekend should be good. But I can not stress caution enough, I have heard of many fishermen and a few ATV's going through the ice. Don't risk it for a few fish! I have been checking a few lakes and I plan to SNEAK out in the next few days. Don't forget your safety equipment like lifejacket, rope, and ice picks ECT.
