Does anyone know the ice conditions for inland lakes around gwinn

Last report I saw on another site said 4 to 5 inches, but that was from last Thursday. Hard to say if it'll be enough to support the weight of all the new snow without becoming slushy.

I agree, as far as I know the ice is becoming thicker by the day, but still between the 2 to 4 inch mark in most spots. Lakes near Gwinn you will find conditions close to this. Sleds are out of the question, unless you want to get silly. A shack and a few rods will work for now. Sporely and Shag Lakes seem to have decent ice. As well as Bass and Little Lake. Just be extra safe, as certain areas may have less depending on depth and snow. Use cation.
