Want to know if anyone goes across 422 bridge over arthur. Is there skim ice on. open water still? Thanks.

Darl Black just told me that Wilhelm, parts of Pymie and parts of Presque Isle Bay have safe ice....he thinks that the upper 3 fingers of Arthur should be frozen but is not sure. He said try calling Appalachain Trail Sporting Goods (Rt. 422) and see if they can help you.

I emailed Howard Wagner this morning as well........just waiting for his reply.

It's frozen, there have been guys on the ice as silly as it sounds. There's guys on the ice at Pymie and Wilhelm was pretty far along last weekend as well.

There were 20 people on the Muddy Creek finger yesterday.

Howard said the lake is snow covered but not sure how thick the ice is on the entire lake..........BE CAREFUL!

Thanks for the info. I got the number to ODonnels bait shop in portersville. I will give them a call also.

You'll have to cut a 8 inch wide, 40 yard long slot so you can do some casting.
They may frown on a 8' wide path to troll through.:)
