January tip of the month

Hi everyone,

I just want to let everyone know that I have posted my January tip of the month on www.walleyemaxx.com. My tip this month deals mainly with Walleyes so I want to remind everyone that Walleyes are closed on the Chippewa Flowage. Walleyes are still fair game on most other lakes however, so I hope these tips will help you in your search for Old Mr. Walleye.

Tweak the tip to shallower weed flats with the tipups for Northern Pike and jig smaller baits for the Perch.

Good luck fishing and be safe. The ice conditions are still not the best.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to update the ice conditions. The ice is at 10-12" now with about 2" of snow on that so mobility is excellent For ATV's and snowmobiles. Still not safe for vehicles. Have fun and be safe out there.
