this past Friday was my dad's rod disappearing after he put it down by the hole to check on his tip up. He had a Swedish Pimple baited with a minnow on the business end. When he turned around his rod wasn't there. Oops!
Saturday, fished the upper bay again somewhere between Kipling and Yellow Gate covering the depth range between 8 and 15 FOW with tip ups and every possible jig/spoon out there. Other then a few dink perch and a huge northern showing up in the camera looking lethargic, no action at all. Not a lot of action on the sonar either. Lots of action above the ice though, including our portable collapsing on us a few times during the strong wind gusts.
