Fishing for me has been really tough over the last week. We had the moon and weather working for our advantage, but the walleyes just didn't cooperate. I have fished many spots and didn't find a consistant school to target.
The walleyes that I caught over the last week are relating to the deep weed edges, fishing mainly 9 to 13 fow about 3' off the bottom. When targeting the deep weed edges look for corners or points in the weeds fish the green cabbage weeds not the brown dead milfoil.
I also tried fishing on top of the humps in like 6 to 7 fow with limited success.
Bait of choice has been small lake shiners, and tuffies.
The fishing will pick up come February and I still have some availability so if you are looking for a Shawano Lake Walleye Experience give me a call!!
Good Luck!!
