Been a tough weekend and week on the bay for me . Wind , cold, more wind, and no fish to speak of. Took the day off yesterday and pulled an all dayer today.
Fished the northern bay and had a great morning . Started out slow and then at 9:30 all hell broke loose. Nailed and iced 3 keeper eyes 15.5 to 19, 5 jumbo perch, 2 northerns and get this...3-nice crappies. Yeah , crappies....What up wit dat!!! Marked a school of suspended fish and it was crappies 8-10 ft off bottom in 27 ft of water. Pretty cool!!!
Thought the night bite would be promising , but ended up with 3 more perch in the afternoon and 2-dinks. No night bite at all. Bummer, Nice moon though...
Back to work for a week and then heading to San Diego for 10 days , so keep a few in the pond for me!!!
