[Flambeau Vista Retreat LLC]

The Turtle-Flambeau Flowage Association Ice Fishing Jamboree will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Donners Bay Resort.

Proceeds from this event go towards the promotion and enhancement of the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage. CASH PRIZES will be awarded for the three largest fish in the divisions of Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass (Smallmouth & Largemouth), Perch and Crappie.

Tickets are $2 each/or 3 for $5 for entry in the contest and/or entry in the RAFFLE for the following GRAND PRIZES:

1st Prize: Remington Model 770 7mm Rifle with Scope

2nd Prize: Vexilar FL-8se Genz Pack

3rd Prize: CVA 50 cal. Muzzleloader Rifle

4th Prize: 1/2 Day Guided Musky Fishing Trip with Guide Bobby Orr

Food, Beverages, Raffles and Music will be held throughout the day.

This is a family event, so come one, come all.

Fishing times for the Jamboree are from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm on Sat. Feb 26, 2011. Fish registration is at Donners Bay Resort and starts at 8:00 am. Tickets can be purchased at Donners Bay the day of the event and you do not have to fish or be present to be eligible for the grand prizes.

Food will be available starting at 10:00 am. Chinese raffles, ham raffles, "adults beverage" basket raffles, "family" basket raffle and the Wheel of Fortune will start at 10:00 am and continue through the day.

Bring the family, enjoy the day and support the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage.

I'm Glad you caught the humor "Floating Dock". Hopefully the George(s) will catch it as well. At least they will be making a very , very generous donation for early postings of the results, right boys!!!!.

I will be inside Donnors Bay Resort selling tickets at 10:00 am. You should see some of the fantastic prizes that our local community businesses have donated. Folks, at least take a Saturday drive to the flowage with the kids and check it all out to get rid of that "cabin fever".

The results you saw were from the JPD Warrrior Fisheree that was held on January 29th. This is another great event that is held on the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage.

This Saturday's event is hosted by the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage Association.

Donners Bay will not have minnows, but they are available in Mercer, Butternut and Park Falls. Please let us Know if you have any other questions and we will do our best to get you answers.

Does Camp 1 on hwy FF less than a mile from Donners Bay still sell minnows during the winter, they of course are very close to Donners Bay and would save a lot of driving for those that need live bait.

Thank-you to all that attended or supported this year's Clause Kraetke Ice Fishing Jamboree. Clause was a pioneer in tourism by starting a ice fishing jamboree that is still strongly attended today by most of our local families and freinds. Clause's kids and grandkids are also wonderful in making this an fantastic event to this day. Thank-you to all that attended this event or purchased tickets by phone or on line. We will post the results on Monday evening as soon as George and George submit their $500 checks and they clear the bank!!! LOL
