Ice is breaking up

The ice is really going out fast up here in some areas. There is a lot of ice going out by the bridge on Highway CC. Pretty cool to see but there is still a lot of ice out there. I was out driving my truck on the lake last week so I'm guessing there is still at least 15 inches on the main lake. Probably more like 18 inches. I might go out today or tomorrow to do some ice fishing so I'll let you know.

I was on a small lake over here south of Minocqua and only had 13" on it, surprising!!! Went to Tomahawk after that and still had 16"-18"... Looks like it could be an early ice out again!!!
