Wondering if anyone has been doing anygood on Indian or Thunder Lake. I would like to take my 8 year old somewhere to get some action.

How close are you to Felch? I haven't fished the two lakes this year you've mentioned, but I've fished Gene's and Groveland near Felch. You are just about guaranteed bluegill action at either of those places. Gene's is the easiest...just walk a hundred feet or so right off the parking lot.
If I had to take a kid out and I wanted to guarantee action, those are the places I'd go.
