day started off rough. bottomed out my auger.but thanks to BAIT SHOP GUY, i was back in business in no time at all. got back out to the upper bay and fished there until 1, no fish not even a wind flag. then headed in. went out off yacht club and fished the lower bay for the first time, and i have to say, im done with the upper bay. i got my first lbdn walleye at 445. 18", slammed a #7 chrome red naked. after that, nothing, they would look but not nearly as aggressive. headed home at 7. at least i got one. been up 2wice before yesterday and only perch and pike. would be up next weekend, but i had to buy an auger blade. oh well. il be cutting through like butter come next year!
oh yeah, because of the wind and drifting, i lost a tipup on the upper bay! put it out and went back to check it 15 min. later and i couldnt find it! so if anyone finds a illuminator beaver dam in about 30fow in the middle of the upper bay, let me know! thanks.
