I just met with Muskie School "Dean" Geoff Crandall and Waunakee H.S. Coordinator Duff Kopf. We are going to have an all time attendance record for the CCMI Tenth Annual Muskie School. As of today we have 186 paid students for the school to held on 3/19/11! By next week we will be well over 200 signed up for classes. The very first year we started the school we had an attendance of 50 at MATC. The Muskie School has become a great success.
If you would still like to sign up and get the early bird registration rate of $29.00 get your entry postmarked by Tuesday 3/15/2011. You may still attend the Muskie School by walking in and registering at the door for $39.00 but we recommend pre registration so that we may get a more accurate head count for the lunch caterer. (Download the registration forms on this website under upcoming events and send in the form to register).
A few changes to report, Todd Forcier will not be able to teach the Wisconsin River muskies class due to a previous commitment but Mike Collins, a muskie guide from Wis. Rapids will be the new instructor. He has a great program set up and ready to go.
Jim Stroede the Sawyer Co. instructor also has a conflict in scheduling so Mike Cookas another very well known Hayward area guide has agreed to come in and give an excellent program.
The Reel Repair classes run by Chuck Brod are full at this time, therefore you must make another class choice if registering after todays date.
Doors open at 7:30am Saturday, for mandatory checkin, at Waunakee High School. Due to construction please now enter on the East end of the school. The doors will be well marked. DUE TO LARGE NUMBER OF REGISTRANTS PLEASE PLAN TO BE AT THE DOOR BY 7:30A-7:45A
Lots of great door prizes and raffle prizes to give away including an Abu Garcia Revo Toro winch 60 coupled with a Fenwick rod and other great prizes.
Hope to see you there.
