River is open

That is right the boat are in and the river is open. Randy just call and caught 3 walleye today until the ice got to bad to stay anchored. I did take some picture and will put on the facebook page.

Talking to the guys today the fish were all caught on a wolf river rig. The guys were all anchored using stinger hook. Plan your trip today because the fish are going to start moving with all of the current in the river.

I will be posting a lot more now so stay tuned.

Will be up there this week Thursday thru Sunday. Is the ice bergs still coming down good or will it be a little clearier by then? Plan on anchoring like always for the run-up. Seems like it is a little later this year than normal cause of the water temps and high water. Fishing should be good in the next week or (2). I know last year my record shows catching post spawn fish by the first week of April.
