This weather goes from one extreme to the next. I'm not going to complain about the warm days though because I'm sick of the cold winter we have had! The lake is still up about 9 feet above summer pool. They are pulling water now and have been doing so for several days. It's falling about 6" a day. The water is clearing a little bit every other day from the flats up. Flats down toward dam has been clear. Still a little bit stuff floating but not very much now. Fish have been moving from Scotts Creek to Longbow Marina just about every spot right has fish on them. With this high water it has spread out the fish some are in the bushes and others are being caught trolling in the coves 15-25 feet of water. Rattle Baits have produced the most, with Hell Hounds, Big Game Twitch Baits, and a Red October Ninja Tube all have produced fish. Trolling the biggest producer is little Ernies. Water temps are 47-50 they are warming up with all this heat the last couple days. Good Luck and make sure you stop in the shop! See you on the pond!
