New campsite map posted

Just noticed the DNR has updated the campsite map to reflect some renumberings and a number of campsites that have been permanently closed following the tornado. I believe the intent is to replace these with new campsites.

Thanks for the link! Nice to see what to expect in May for camping. Looks like there is a new campsite on the SW corner of longisland across from c17/f7

Could be the spot with the wood steps and picnic table - I thought it was just a day use area in the past, unless there was a campsite sign that I missed.

Also worth mentioning that there are 6 sites on the east shore of Big Island for groups of 7-15 that have to be reserved for a $40/night fee - $10/night for non-profit youth groups like scouts. They might already be taken, but if you have a larger group and want a guaranteed spot, it would be worth looking into. Less than $6/person/night is pretty reasonable. I think the one with the woodsteps is now F-9, I stayed there one night a couple years ago. But last year we stayed at c17/f7 and there definitely wasn't one on long island across from it.

The camping is cheaper than I figured it would be
