I am looking to get a few for lake trout fishing. Where/when do they run in Delta county???

You can check out the ford river. Don't know when they will run, but they usually have a truck there netting them.

They run in all the local rivers and streams. The Bark, Ford, Days, and Rapid are all easy to fish from shore. Late April through mid May is usually good. The rivers are all shallow and it's easy to see the fish. Tough to beat a worm on a plain hook and sinker to catch them.

You can also try the Finnish-fly-rod method. It usually works pretty decent.
